A broken key in the cylinder can often be pulled out with special tools, without the cylinder having to be replaced. Please do not try it yourself with pliers or glue beforehand — that is the most common reason a small repair turns into a cylinder change.
If the key is in the lock on the inside and the door is latched, that is no problem: there are tools that work on the latch, not on the cylinder.
